A Moroccan court overturned the conviction of a Christian accused of proselytizing.
According to Morningstar News, an appellate court dismissed the case against 31-year-old Mohammed el Baladi because of a lack of evidence.
Police arrested el Baladi last August in Taounate province and accused him of "shaking the faith" of two Muslim teenage boys.
He received a 30-month prison sentence, but he was released on bail a month later. El Baladi claimed an estranged uncle set him up for arrest.
The case against him will be officially closed Feb. 13.
