Not Yet Ready to Give Your Life to Jesus Christ?

We know that God is real because He has revealed Himself in creation. Look at the complexities of the human body. Look at the beauty of nature around us. All of this points to a divine Creator. God is often compared to the wind, even though we cannot see it, we can feel it and see the way it impacts things around us. God has also revealed Himself in the Bible through the life and words of Jesus and prophets throughout history.

True peace is only found in Jesus. When we turn to Jesus and put our faith and hope in Him, we no longer have to carry the weight of these burdens. Through prayer, we can share our anxious thoughts and surrender our worry to Him. The Bible tells us, “Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation with prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God. And the peace that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6, NIV).

You can find peace today with Jesus. Ask God to help you believe in Jesus Christ and His promises so that His peace can reign in your heart. “Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you” (2 Thessalonians 3:16, NIV).

Yes. A foundation of the Christian faith relies on the fact that man and God were separated from each other because of the sin of mankind. God reached out to man to save him because there was no way for man to get to God. This is why He sent Jesus; it is only through a saving faith in Jesus that we can have a relationship with God and be made right with Him. This is the only way to eternal life in heaven—through Jesus Christ. We learn this in John 14:6 when Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”

Pain was not part of God’s original design. Love, on the other hand, was. God knew that for love to exist, free will would also have to exist. In a world where He gave humans a choice, humans chose sin. When sin entered the world, it brought death, disease, and disasters.

While this was not part of the original plan, God took man’s misuse and abuse of free will and redeemed it through Jesus.

God's original plan didn't include pain, but because of sin, it exists in the world. From pain, we can choose to love God or to turn away from Him.

God takes all things (even wrong things) and makes something beautiful of them. He offers opportunities for His children to exercise free will of love toward one another so that some of what has been broken can be remade. Pain provides an opportunity for growth in love and also pushes us to seek God and His peace. Even in pain, Christians can have confidence because, “we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them” (Romans 8:28, NLT).

God loves you and wants you to choose to follow and obey His teachings. Christians know that living a life committed to God, while still challenging, is the best way to live a meaningful and fulfilled life. Living in limbo without making a decision is choosing not to follow God.

The only way to heaven is through Jesus as your Savior. If you accept Him as your Lord and Savior, you’ll have eternal life in Heaven with Him. But if you reject Him as Lord and Savior, you will spend eternity in hell, separated from God. There are no other options. But there is hope and eternal life through Jesus!

Other religions are based on a person's efforts to reach God, which include doing righteous deeds and prayers in hopes that you can be good enough.

But the Bible teaches that we are sinners and could never earn salvation by what we do, so God reached out to save us because there was no other way. This is why He sent Jesus; it is only through a saving faith in Jesus that we can have a relationship with God and be made right with Him. This is the only way to eternal life in heaven—through Jesus Christ.

God made each of us to know, love, and serve Him in this world. His love, woven through every line in the Bible, is everlasting (Jeremiah 33:1)—and nothing can separate those who know Him from it (Romans 8:35-39).

No person is an accident. Your presence on earth is not by chance. You have a purpose to fulfill the unique plan God has for you. The way to know this plan is to know God and to talk to Him.

Before the world began, you were created in God's mind. It is not by chance or coincidence that you exist. God wants you! The Bible says The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me (Psalm 138:8a NIV).

Nothing in your life is arbitrary. It's all for a purpose. God made you for a reason, and your life has meaning! We discover that purpose in Romans 12:3 "The only accurate way to understand ourselves is by what God is and by what he does for us" (MSG).

Yes, God hears our prayers. Psalm 34:15 says, “The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous his ears are attentive to their cry.” Nothing is too big or too small for Him, and He is always available! He gives us the things we need, not the things we want, so sometimes the answers we get to prayers aren’t what we expect or in the timing we want. God hears every prayer no matter what method of praying you use: speaking, singing, or thinking.

Sometimes it’s hard to forgive ourselves, but remember, when we confess our sins to God, He is quick to forgive us, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). So, if God can forgive us of our sins, we can rest in the fact that we are forgiven and move forward. If you are still struggling with forgiving yourself, we encourage you to ask God to help you through this struggle.

We will always feel empty when we look to our accomplishments to provide what we need. But the truth is that God gave the only gift that can satisfy and fill us up: salvation through Jesus Christ.

This truth about God frees you to rest in what He has done through His Son. All your useless striving to be fulfilled can cease. This truth frees you to live for a different purpose.
