CBN.com - Lisa Ryan worked in film, theater and television for 10 years before joining The 700 Club as a producer.

Lisa was raised in a Christian home and came to know the Lord at an early age. She grew up in Visalia, California, studied media production and communication in college, and held the title of Miss California in 1982 and 1985.

While co-hosting the weekly television show Guidelines For Living in southern California, Lisa was also pursuing an acting career. She co-starred in Daughters of Privilege, a Movie of the Week; held a feature role in Murder She Wrote; and appeared in the daytime dramas Days Of Our Lives and The Young And The Restless.

Lisa and Marcus relocated to Virginia Beach, Virginia, for Marcus to attend Regent University. During that time, Lisa began working on The 700 Club.

While working on The 700 Club, Lisa completed her first book titled For Such a Time as This: Your Identity, Purpose and Passion. In it, Lisa draws on the biblical example of Esther and modern-day Esthers as well as her own life to deliver lessons on purity, beauty, destiny, courage and so much more. It is a must for today's young woman. Lisa has completed a companion Study Guide to FSAT and recently released her second book, Generation Esther: Young Women Raised Up For Such A Time As This. You can also log onto the Web community of modern-day Esthers at GenerationEsther.com.

Lisa works out of CBNs Nashville Studios to bring wonderful interviews with top recording artists and celebrities for The 700 Club. Lisa utilizes NorthStar Studios, a television production and digital media distribution center that is a wholly owned subsidiary of United States Media Corporation (USMC), which was founded and is presently owned by The Christian Broadcasting Network.
