Contributing Writer

Shea MacMillan has been a wife since 1996 to Trevor MacMillan and a mother to three beautiful daughters, Jasmyne, Kaylene, and Janessa. Her first and most important ministry lies as a stay-at-home-homeschooling mom.

Shea is a graduate of Blue Ridge Bible College in Virginia with a degree in Biblical Theology, where she also met her husband. They have been involved in ministry for over 20 years.

After marrying and moving back to Shea’s hometown of Suffolk, Virginia, Shea and Trevor served in her home church and community for 21 years before God prompted them to move back to his hometown of Benton, New Brunswick in Canada.

Shea now serves, together with her husband, as an assistant pastor and youth pastor in his home church of Village Lighthouse under Pastors Luke and Bonnie Weaver.

Both Shea and her husband have a heart for those struggling with addiction and have served in faith-based recovery groups since 2010 in both Virginia and New Brunswick.

Ultimately, Shea’s ministry is for hurting women - young and old - and desires to bring healing and freedom through the love of God, His Word, and through Christian mentoring and counseling. Based on the Biblical passage from , Shea founded Titus 2 Women Ministries after God showed her the need for Godly mentoring in today’s world. She enjoys teaching on the spiritual level as well as the practical level, and has taught women of all ages about organizing, living simply, budgeting, and basics of how to run a household from a Godly perspective.
