Rob Allman

CBN Vice President of News | Rob Allman joined CBN to lead the News Department in 2004 after a 20-year career in local news, including stints in Dallas, Chicago, and Washington, D.C.

As CBN Vice-President of News, Rob manages daily operations across three bureaus (Virginia Beach, Washington, D.C., and Jerusalem) that produce content for The 700 Club, the CBN News Channel, CBNNews.com, and CBN social media (YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram).

Before joining CBN News, Rob was the Assistant News Director at KTVT (CBS) in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas. Before that, he spent 13 years as the Executive Producer at WJLA-TV (ABC) in metro Washington, D.C., along with News Director positions at WFMY-TV (Greensboro, N.C.) and WLWT (Cincinnati, Ohio).

Rob graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in Communications; he lives in Virginia Beach with his wife, Peggy, and enjoys spending time with their six children and seven grandchildren.
