Erick Stakelbeck is a sought after authority on Middle East and national security-related issues with extensive experience in television, radio, print and digital media. A 2013 Jerusalem Post profile stated that, “Within Evangelical Christian circles, Stakelbeck is considered by many to be the leading authority” on the issues of terrorism, radical Islam and the Middle East.

Since 2005, Stakelbeck has been a correspondent, host and analyst for CBN News, where his reports and commentary are seen by over 1 million daily viewers in the United States alone. He covers U.S. national security, the Middle East, Israel-related issues and the growth of radical Islam at home and abroad for the network’s Washington, D.C., bureau. Stakelbeck has interviewed numerous lawmakers and world leaders as well as Islamic terrorists.

He’s host of the weekly CBN program, The Watchman with Erick Stakelbeck, which is seen on Direct TV and the Dish Network as well as regional markets throughout the United States and in Great Britain, Spain, and Hungary.

Stakelbeck’s first book, The Terrorist Next Door: How the Government is Deceiving You About the Islamist Threat was released in 2011 by Regnery Publishing to major acclaim. 

His second bestselling book was released by Regnery in July 2013 and is titled The Brotherhood: America’s Next Great Enemy. It warns about the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood and the global Islamist movement.

Stakelbeck is a regular contributor to Glenn Beck’s The Blaze TV, guest hosting the Glenn Beck Program and providing in-studio analysis and investigative reports.

Stakelbeck has made hundreds of appearances as a commentator on leading national television and radio programs and is a regular guest on Fox News. His appearances include: The O’Reilly Factor, Hannity, Your World with Neil Cavuto, Fox and Friends, Justice with Judge Jeanine, Huckabee, America’s Newsroom, America Live with Megyn Kelly, CNN Newsroom, The Savage Nation, BBC, Al Hurra and many others.

From 2003 to 2005, Stakelbeck worked as a senior writer and analyst at the Investigative Project on Terrorism, a counterterrorism think tank founded by terrorism expert Steven Emerson. His articles on Islamic extremism, global terrorism and national security appeared in the Wall Street Journal Europe, Weekly Standard, Washington Times, New York Post, Jerusalem Post, and National Review Online, among other publications.

Stakelbeck regularly delivers addresses at major public forums, including events for Christians United for Israel (CUFI), ACT for America, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), the Israel Allies Foundation (IAF), the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA), the Values Voter Summit and the Faith and Freedom Coalition, among others, on terrorism and Middle East-related issues.

Stakelbeck was formerly a regular contributor to both David Horowitz's Frontpage Magazine.com and Michelle Malkin’s HotAir.com, two leading conservative websites.
