CBN.com VISION FOR THE ERA
In the 1960’s Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran walked towards a railroad track and planned to step in the path of an oncoming train to end his life.  On the way, he met his uncle who shared the Good News about Jesus Christ.  D.G.S. returned home and accepted the Lord into his life.

Shortly after, the Lord told him, “I am filling you with the same spirit of compassion…when I was in this world 2,000 years ago.”  After this encounter with God, D.G.S. started Jesus Calls Ministry.  He began preaching and praying for people.

Soon thousands of people came to these gatherings where he prayed for people and miracles happened: lame people walked, the blind saw, people were healed of tumors and cancer and many received peace in their lives. D.G.S. realized the power of radio for preaching the Gospel and in 1972, broadcasted over the radio for the first time.

After D.G.S. passed away in 2008, his son, Paul, took over the ministry.  Paul’s vision is to establish Prayer Towers (prayer centers that function 24/7, praying for people over the phone and in person) in every nation of the world. God has enabled him to establish such prayer towers in India, and other countries such as America, Canada, South Africa, Singapore, Malaysia, New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom, Sri Lanka, and Fiji and recently in Israel.

ISRAEL PRAYER TOWER
Moved by the love of God for the poor, Paul began SEESHA, the social arm of Jesus Calls Ministry, which feeds and helps thousands of people in the impoverished sections of society.  Children receive free tutorial education and medical camps. Paul has continued with his father’s vision for Jesus Calls and has established 59 prayer towers in 12 countries.  Intercessors come from all over the world to pray and prophecy God’s plan for each nation. When they pray, God’s word goes through prophecy to each nation and transforms the nation, by placing the right kings in power. Miraculously, Paul had favor with the Israeli government and the doors opened for him to build a prayer tower in the heart of Jerusalem.

This is vital because through prayer, Paul says, the doors will open the nations to preach the gospel a final time. Paul also says that, as God’s word goes out from Jerusalem through the prayer intercessors, His spirit of grace will fall upon Israel. The Israelites will mourn and turn towards the messiah. This will prepare Israel and the world for the second coming of Christ.

The Jesus Calls Israel Prayer Tower is situated on the 20th floor of the tallest building in the center of Jerusalem. It has a 360-degree view towards the old city and the Mount of Olives, as well as the new city and the parliament of Israel. The prayer tower has a worship hall for 250 persons, prayer booths for people to pray, looking over the city. It also has a prophetic training center and a chapel. Tour groups from all over the world are taken there to pray for healing and God’s will in their nations.
