In El Salvador, Liam was born with a small hole in his heart. Doctors hoped it would heal naturally, but it didn't. Instead, it grew, making Liam weaker. A cardiologist recommended surgery, the only option.
Liam's parents, Lorena and Alan, faced a tough situation. Lorena had to quit her job to care for their son. They couldn't afford the $10,000 for surgery. Thankfully, the cardiologist referred them to a hospital supported by Operation Blessing. Liam received free surgery, and afterward, he was like a new child, full of energy.
Lorena expressed immense gratitude. Without Operation Blessing, they wouldn't have been able to help Liam. Today, Liam plays without any restrictions, thanks to the support they received. It's a story of hope and gratitude, showing how a community's support can change lives for the better.
