Outgoing Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., is urging President Barack Obama to "go big" on his upcoming executive order on illegal immigrants.

The president is expected to take the action soon, allowing up to 5 million illegals to avoid being deported.

But Republican Bob Goodlatte, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, said the president's action would be "one of the biggest executive power grabs in history."

Writing in the Wall Street Journal, the Virginia lawmaker warns that the president is moving toward a constitutional crisis.

Goodlatte added that by poisoning the atmosphere in Washington the president is damaging any chance of real immigration reform.
