“Courageous”: Behind the Scenes of Sherwood Pictures’ New Movie

What began as a small-time film project for Sherwood Pictures with their first project, Flywheel, has now evolved into a movie production company with two box-office successes in Facing the Giants and Fireproof. The Sherwood Baptist Church-backed production company returns to theaters this fall with their fourth film, Courageous.

A cinematic look at fatherhood, Courageous follows the stories of four Southern police officers who struggle with what it truly means to be a dad. Spearheaded by brothers Alex and Stephen Kendrick, the film seeks to inspire fathers to step up to the responsibility they have as the head of the family.

With an army of volunteers the cast and crew of Courageous filmed this new movie in Albany, Georgia. Get a glimpse of the heart of the film by watching the behind-the-scenes video below.
