Caesarea National Park

Israel's rich Biblical history is highlighted well in the ruins at the Caesarea National Park. Built by King Herod the Great in 22 BC, Caesarea was the capital of Judaea and residence of Pontius Pilate. This coastal city also is where Peter baptized Cornelius the Centurion (Acts 10, 11) and Apostle Paul was jailed here for two years (Acts 9 -25).
